Our monthly bulletin intends to be the link between all readers who can be either historians or genealogists, experienced or beginners.
A good deal of room is given to the questions that each of us is asking himself and there is a lot of detailed answers. Very distant relatives for example could discover each other; unknown texts were published. Each bulletin gives informations on current events such as congresses, conferences, thesis, publications. It also informs on more general subjects as the location of archives' records or the methodology in making researches, and you can find readers' findings in publications and archives' records. Obviously "Généalogie et Histoire de la Caraïbe" publishes new studies on historical facts or on families. These articles come from the works of searchers belonging or not to the Association. They can bring a new knowledge on subjects supposed already well known. The table of the articles published and the index of the names mentioned during this annual period are supplied to our members. As an indication it represents more than 7 000 references in a total of 300 pages for a year. Furthermore special issues are published for important genealogies, for specific documents,..... "Généalogie et Histoire de la Caraïbe" is legally protected for the royalties in being legally registered at the Bibliothèque Nationale. Our society
