We cannot respond to questions in an e-mail.

When asking your questions please inform us of your own knowledge on that
subject to avoid us researching something already done.

Do not send us money.
You will receive free the pages including your questions and the answers.
At that time you will be able to either send a donation corresponding to
your estimated amount for our work or become a member of "Généalogie et
Histoire de la Caraïbe".

Genealogists : Please be concise; use the genealogical
abreviations and Sosa-Stradonitz
(Ahnentafel System) and d'Aboville numbering (like Henry system but with
periods to separate the generations).

There are only benevoles in our Association : we cannot replace you in
your researches; we will help you as far as we can and if you need it
we shall give you the contacts of french professional genealogists able
to help you.

Finally if you indicate us documents or subjects concerning
our area you will receive the bulletin in which your informations were
published.

But, please, do not ask us about "all you know on Martin's family"
or "My family Martin elsewhere in France or Caribbean".
We are not wizards. There are more than 300 parishs in french Caribbean islands
and more than 36.000 parishes in France.
French archives are probably the most important in the World.
After 30 years LDS has not yet microfilmed all the parish registers.
